General Notes

Elizabeth was born January 20, 1912. Mom was a very beautiful woman, a
pleasure and delight to see, very pretty and an excellent cook.
She married at an early age, had six children and worked very hard to
keep them fed and clothed. She, like our dad, started having bad health
in her late twenties. She had heart problems, high blood pressure, and
was diabetic. Like our dad, she was not able to work.
When she was young she liked to dance, play games, and lots of euchre
card games. Euchre was her favorite.
Mom was easy to cry and our dad knew that. He would tease her so much. I
recall one of a thousand things he did. Some of their friends gave them
deer meat one day and mother cooked it. We all sat down to eat. All of a
sudden our dad said out loud, "Look! You are all growing antlers." All of
us kids stopped eating and mom cried. We didn't eat the deer meat. He was
a big tease.
Our mother made it through her 65th birthday January 20, 1977 and died of
a heart attach on February 7, 1977.
Both of our parents had a short life unfortunately. They were good people.
