Stanley was born on February 25th, 1917 in Polk Twp, Monroe Co.,  Indiana.  He died at the age of 76 on December 19th, 1993 in Bloomington Hospital, Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana.  He was buried in Clear Creek Cemetery, Monroe Co., Indiana.
