John Deckard 
John was born on May 7th, 1893. John's father was Benjamin Deckard and his mother was Mary Polly Ann Kinser. His paternal grandparents were John Wesley Deckard and Malissa Eads; his maternal grandparents were Austin Kinser and Elizabeth Sipes. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Leander Lee, Perry, Dessa and Emma. He was the third oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother named Clifford. He died at the age of 45 on January 8th, 1939. He was buried in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes
