Earl Hester was born on July 19th, 1926 in Monroe Co., Indiana. Earl Hester's father was Ora Deckard and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Frye. His paternal grandparents were King Anthony Mone Deckard and Mary Mol Jane Eads; his maternal grandparents were Alexandra Frye and Margaret Chandler. He had four brothers named Winfred Ernest, Benard, Stanley and Lemuel Dewight. He died at the age of 60 on February 8th, 1987 in Bloomington Hospital, Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana. Earl H. Deckard, 60, of Bloomington, died Sunday at Bloomington
Hospital.
Born July 19, 1926, in Monroe County, he was the son of Ora and Mary
(Frye) Deckard. He was retired employee from Monroe County Community
School Corporation and attended the Shiloh Pentecostal Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Marjie (Anderson) Deckard; one daughter,
Wyvonna Deckard of Bloomington; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Lenniuel Deckard; and two
brothers, Winfred Deckard and Stanley Deckard.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Allen Funeral Home with the
Rev. Russell Elkins officiating. Burial will be in Smithville Cemetery.
Friends may call 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
