Nellie Ethel was born on May 2nd, 1912 in Unionville, Indiana. Nellie Ethel's father was William K. Chitwood and her mother was Martha Ethel Young. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Milton Chitwood and Mary Ellen Young. She had a brother and a sister, named Wilburn and Elizabeth. She died at the age of 83 on August 19th, 1995 in Bloomington, Indiana. She was buried in Little Union Babtist Chruch Cemetery, Unionville, In.-
