James E. Chenoweth

James E. was born on February 4th, 1847.  James E.'s father was Ephraim Bowen Chenoweth and his mother was Mariah Risinger.  His paternal grandparents were Arthur Chenoweth and Rachel Bowen; his maternal grandparents were George Risinger and Sarah Seaton. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named Stephen Hamilton, Grafton, Jefferson S., John H., Roy Lee, Clinton Lafayette, Allen Simpson, Ollie S., Jane, Sarah and Jean.  He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
