Maria M. Angrick 
Maria M. was born in 1869 in Konigsberg, Ostpreussen, Preussen. Maria M.'s father was Peter Angrick and her mother was Gertrude Reski. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Anton F., Joseph, August, Frank (Franz), Carl (Charles), Andrew P., Julius J. and Anna Justin. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 25 on November 18th, 1894 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was buried on November 20th, 1894 in Crown Hill, Indianapolis, Indiana.General Notes
Maria came to the U.S at the age of 18 with her brother (Anton) and his
family. They traveled to the USA by the ship Trave from Bremen &
Southampton to the USA. She arrived on April 27, 1888.
She married John Bertel who was also from Germany on January 5, 1891.
They had 3 children. Rose born March 21, 1891, Clara Teresa born August
10, 1892, and John A. born April 1894.
Maria became ill and passed away in November 1894. She is buried at Crown
Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Her husband remarried to Lena Petroff who helped him raise the children.
‌Maria M. and John T. were married in a religious ceremony on January 5th, 1891 in Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana. They had a son and two daughters, named John A., Rose Marie and Clara Teresa.

Rose Marie was born on March 21st, 1891 in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. She died at the age of 86 on February 6th, 1978 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.
Clara Teresa Bertel
Clara Teresa was born on August 10th, 1892 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She died at the age of 68 on September 20th, 1960 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. She was buried on September 22nd, 1960 in Mission Burial Park South, San Antonio, Texas.
