Joseph Hardee 
Joseph was born in 1752 in Pitt County, NC. Joseph's father was Andrew (Hardy) Hardee and his mother was Averelli (Averilla, Everilla) Vines. His maternal grandparents were William Vines and Sarah ???. He was an only child. He died at the age of 79 in 1831 in Horry, SC.General Notes
Fought in the Revolutionary War at the battles of Guilford Courthouse and Eutaw Springs. He was injured and lost a leg. Is registered by the Sons of the American Revoluation as an American Patriot.
They had a son named John.
