John Ira Epperson 
John Ira was born in 1823. John Ira 's father was John Epperson and his mother was Emilee Bell. His paternal grandparents were Thompson "Thomas" Epperson and Mary Israel; his maternal grandparents were William Bell and Nancy Smith. He was an only child. He died at the age of 83 in 1906.-
