Catherine Symes 
Catherine was born in 1654 in Poundsford,Charde,Somerset County,England. Catherine's father was Thomas Symes and her mother was Amy Bridges. Her paternal grandparents were John Symes II and Amy Horner; her maternal grandparents were Edward Bridges and Phillippa Speake. She had nine brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, George, Edward, Charles, William, Henry, Benjamin, Richard, John, Amy, Mary and Elizabeth. She was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children.-
