Griffin Sowards

Griffin was born on December 9th, 1799 in Monroe County,Virginia. Griffin's father was Isaac Sowards Jr. and his mother was Elizabeth Samples. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Sowards and Miliston Vanderford. He had two brothers and a sister, named James Isaac, Solomon and Sophia. He died at the age of 84 on February 3rd, 1884 in Lawrence County,Ohio.
