John Nutter 
John was born in 1786 in Harrison County,Virginia. John's father was Matthew Nathan Nutter and his mother was Elizabeth Goodwin. His paternal grandparents were Matthew Nutter and Ann Huett; his maternal grandparents were General Matthew Goodwin and Ann. He had five brothers and four sisters, named William, Matthew N., Isaac, Levi, Thomas, Bathsheba, Elizabeth, Magdalene and Malinda. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 71 on January 9th, 1857.-
