Zadock Jacob Goodwin

Zadock Jacob was born in 1794 in Harrison County,West Virginia. Zadock Jacob's father was John Dobson Goodwin and his mother was Elizabeth Webb. His paternal grandparents were John Edward Goodwin and Tabitha Peirson; his maternal grandparents were Jonas Webb and Elizabeth ?. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named John, William, James, George T., Gabriel, Mary Magdaline, Zepporah, Elizabeth, Tabitha, Comfort, Polly, Nancy and Sarah. He was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 61 on June 1st, 1855 in Jackson County,West Virginia.
