John Goodwin II 
John was born on January 30th, 1799 in Harrison County,Virginia. John's father was John Dobson Goodwin and his mother was Elizabeth Webb. His paternal grandparents were John Edward Goodwin and Tabitha Peirson; his maternal grandparents were Jonas Webb and Elizabeth ?. He had five brothers and eight sisters, named Zadock Jacob, William, James, George T., Gabriel, Mary Magdaline, Zepporah, Elizabeth, Tabitha, Comfort, Polly, Nancy and Sarah. He was the sixth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 81 on July 28th, 1880 in Harrison County,West Virginia.-
