Samuel Ewing 
Samuel was born in 1719. Samuel's father was John , Sr. Ewing and his mother was Jennet McElvaney. His paternal grandparents were Baron William Ewing and Eliza Milford. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, William, James and Mary. He had four half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Alexander, Thomas, James, John, Jane, Martha, Nancy and Sarah.
