Rainer I was born in 0860 in France. Rainer I's father was Count Giselbert Of The Moselle and his mother was Duchess Ermengarde Of The Moselle. His paternal grandparents were Emperor Lothaire I Of The Holy Roman Empire and Countess Ermengarde Of Tours. He was an only child. He died at the age of 56 in 0916.
He had a biological son named Gilbert.
