Benjamin J. Cooper

Benjamin J. was born on April 18th, 1806.  Benjamin J.'s father was Henry Cooper and his mother was Lydia Elizabeth Posey. He had four brothers and three sisters, named James, John S., Henry "Harry", Lemuel, Nancy Ann, Serena and Mahala.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 83 on April 14th, 1890.

‌Benjamin J. and Virginia were married in a religious ceremony on November 26th, 1839.
