Simeon was born on January 13th, 1772 in Southbury,Connecticut. Simeon's father was Andrew Coe and his mother was Mary Sanford. His paternal grandparents were John Coe II and ? Purdy; his maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Sanford and Bethiah Kirby. He was an only child. He died at the age of 86 on June 8th, 1858 in Scriba,New York.-
