John Mason Clark 
John Mason was born on June 26th, 1871 in Rowan County,Kentucky. John Mason's father was Samuel F. Clark and his mother was Elizabeth Fraley. His paternal grandparents were G.S. Clark and Elizabeth Ellen; his maternal grandparents were Frederick Fraley and Barbara Fultz. He had four brothers and four sisters, named William, Amos, Franklin, Noah, Amanda, Malissa, Armeina and Martha. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 42 on November 16th, 1913 in Lincoln County,West Virginia.-
