John Chapman 
John was born in 1771 in Virginia. John's father was John Chapman and his mother was Sallie Abbott. His paternal grandparents were Isaac Chapman and Sarah Cole; his maternal grandfather was Richard Abbott. He had a brother named George. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 87 on March 7th, 1858 in Mud River,VA (now WV).-
