James P. Burcham 
James P. was born in 1832. James P.'s father was Nathaniel Squire Burcham and his mother was Matilda Caroline Johnson. His paternal grandparents were John Scott Burcham and Nancy Ann Dowden; his maternal grandfather was William C. Johnson. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John Francis, Jesse S., Nathaniel Spencer, William Fleming, Elizabeth, Nancy, Susannah and Matilda Caroline. He was the second oldest of the nine children.-
