Joseph Tomlinson 
Joseph was born on October 12th, 1745 in Little Meadows,Maryland. Joseph's father was Joseph Tomilinson and his mother was Rebecca Drusilla Swearingen. His paternal grandparents were James Tomlinson and Harriett Trowbridge; his maternal grandparents were Van Swearingen and Elizabeth Walker. He had six brothers and three sisters, named James, Samuel, Nathanial, Benjamin, Jesse, John, Elizabeth, Rebecca and Drusilla. He was the second oldest of the ten children.-
