Joseph Owen 
Joseph was born in 1752 in Northampton Co,Pennsylvania. Joseph's father was David Owen and his mother was Sarah Schmetzer. His paternal grandparents were Owen Owen and Katherine Lewis. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, David, Jonathan, Nathan, Jesse, Rachel, Mary Ann, Sarah, Abagail and Lydia. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.-
