David Owen 
David was born in 1748 in Northampton Co,Pennsylvania. David's father was David Owen and his mother was Sarah Schmetzer. His paternal grandparents were Owen Owen and Katherine Lewis. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Jonathan, Joseph, Nathan, Jesse, Rachel, Mary Ann, Sarah, Abagail and Lydia. He was the third oldest of the eleven children.-
