John Loar

John was born on October 12th, 1789 in Eckhart Mines,Allegany Co,Maryland.  John's father was Jacob Loar and his mother was Sarah Eckhart. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named George, Jacob, Henry, Elizabeth, Sarah, Catherine, Barbara, Mary, Margaret Rebecca and Susanna.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.
