John Jenkins 
John was born on April 5th, 1697 in Sandwich,Barnstable Co.,MA. John's father was Zachariah Jenkins and his mother was Abiah Allen. His paternal grandparents were John Jenkins and Susanna Cook; his maternal grandparents were Francis Allen and Mary Barlow. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Job Cook, Jedediah, Zephaniah, Mary, Hannah, Abiah, Susannah, Dinah, Abigail, Elizabeth and Rebecca. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 44 in March 1742 in East Greenwich,Kent Co.,RI.-
