George Crichton

George was born on January 16th, 1732 in Balewirie,Markinch,Fifeshire,Scotland.  George's father was George Crichton and his mother was Janet Campbell.  His paternal grandparents were David Crichton and Anna Forbes; his maternal grandparents were Archibald Campbell and Issobell Pitcairn. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, James and Helen.  He was the second youngest of the four children.
