Joseph John Bishop 
Joseph John was born in 1811 in NC. Joseph John's father was William Bishop and his mother was Ascension Merritt. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Merritt and Phebe. He had two brothers named Moses and William. He was the oldest of the three children.
