Jacob Gibson Beaman 
Jacob Gibson was born in November 1843 in Near Cataract, Owen, Indiana. Jacob Gibson's father was James Beaman and his mother was Lydia Helm. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Beaman and Sarah Langdon; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Helm and Rachel Beaman. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Calvin, William, George White, Samuel Simpson, Elihu, James Fain, John Tipton, Rachel, Sarah and Elizabeth. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 71 on October 11th, 1915 in , Owen, Indiana.-
