Bennett Barrow 
Bennett was born on June 22nd, 1777 in , Halifax, North Carolina. Bennett's father was William Barrow and his mother was Olivia Ruffin. His paternal grandfather was William Barrow; his maternal grandparents were Robert Ruffin and Anne Bennett. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Robert, William, Bartholomew, Ruffin, Ann, Mary and Sarah. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 56 on July 22nd, 1833.-
