John Seneker Barr 
John Seneker was born in 1854 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. John Seneker's father was George B. Barr and his mother was Katherine Lucinda Seneker. His paternal grandparents were George Barr and Elizabeth Hawk; his maternal grandparents were John Seneker and Frances Acree. He had three brothers and three sisters, named George Robert, William A., Charles Valentine, Sarah Frances, Elizabeth and Mary Alice. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 45 in 1899.-
