James E. Barr 
James E. was born in 1824 in Sullivan County, Tennessee. James E.'s father was George Barr and his mother was Elizabeth Hawk. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William M., George B., Thomas A., Jacob Alexander, Andrew H., Elizabeth, Margaret J. and Eliza B.. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 63 in 1887.
