Luthenia R. was born on February 11th, 1899 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. Luthenia R.'s father was Francis Marion Bailey and her mother was Lucinda Jane Caldwell. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Bailey and Nancy Henard; her maternal grandparents were Andrew F. Caldwell and Elizabeth. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Daniel Marion, Bascom Sears, James Bishop, Samuel Presley, Glenn Maxwell, Nancy Elizabeth, Bessie Mae, Willie Grace, Anna Lee and Margaret Louise. She died at the age of 57 on June 12th, 1956.-
