Lincoln Amis 
Lincoln was born on November 3rd, 1778 in , Bladen, North Carolina. Lincoln's father was Thomas Amis and his mother was Alice Gale. His paternal grandparents were John Amis and Mary Dillard; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Whitney Gale and Mary Griffith. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named John, Willis, Thomas Gale, Tabitha, Frances, Mary, Elizabeth, Rachel, Alice Gale and Penelope. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Haynes, William, James and Nancy. He died at the age of 90 in 1868 in Rogersville, Hawkins, Tennessee.-
