Fort Wayne News (Fort Wayne, Indiana)
[From the Colton (Cal.) Times.]
Quietly appointed, but with everything in artistic harmony, was the pretty celebration of the nuptials of Miss Anna Glass and Lloyd Hulbert, which occurred June 6 at 1 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Cunnison, on East F street, Mrs. Cunnison being a sister of the bride. Snow-white carnations, Shasta daisies and greenery were employed to give a bridal bower effect to the rooms used for the wedding ceremony, and the setting was charming in its atmosphere of simplicity. At the appointed hour Miss Gladys Cunnison, a niece of the bride, began the wedding march and the happy couple quietly took their places in front of the Rev. R.M. Davis of the First Presbyterian church, who used the beautiful ring service for the plighting of the solemn vows.
A dainty and girlish frock of white embroidered crepe had been chosen for the occasion by the bride, and immediately after the falling of the benediction this was changed for a natty little suit of Alice blue silk, with coat and other accessories in harmony, and at 1:50 the bride and groom left over the Santa Fe to San Diego for a ten days' stay. Only immediate relatives of the bride and groom were witnesses of the ceremony. After July 1 Mr. and Mrs. Hulbert will be at home to friends at 1200 North Ninth street, the young groom having fitted up a charming bungalow which is all in readiness for the coming of its winsome new mistress. Mr. Hulbert is a sterling young man with a host of warm friends who will not only heartily congratulate him but will give a genuine welcome to his bonny bride.
--
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Glass, of near this city, and was a teacher in the city schools. She was a charming young lady, and will be greatly missed by a host of friends.
