Jacob Shepard Lyon 
Jacob Shepard was born on July 28th, 1803. He died at the age of 72 on September 9th, 1875 in Ithaca, Tompkins, NY. He was buried in Kings Cemetery.1 1 General Notes

It is not clear from the Sisson Newsletter, v.3, no.5, where Kings
Cemetery is. Both Jacob and Abigail (Sisson) Lyon are buried there, but
the Cemetery is mentioned after the Newsletter gives the place of
Abigail's death (in Willseyville, New York) so that one would assume the
Cemetery is located there. But note that Jacob died in Ithaca, New York.
Willseyville is in Tioga County, New York, a few miles south of Ithaca,
in Tomkins County.
