Joseph Benton 
Joseph was born in 1660 in Milford, New Haven, CT.1 Joseph's father was Andrew Benton and his mother was Hannah Stocking. His paternal grandparents were John Benton and Mary Southernwood; his maternal grandparents were George Stocking and Anna Green. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Andrew, John, Samuel, Hannah, Mary and Dorothy. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Ebenezer, John, Hannah and Lydia. He died at the age of 93 on August 12th, 1753 in Kent, Litchfield, CT.1 -
