John Beckwith

John was born in 1665 in New London, New London, CT.¹   John's father was Matthew Beckwith and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Lynne.  His paternal grandparents were Marmaduke Beckwith and Anna Dyneley. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Matthew, Joseph, Nathaniel, Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 92 in 1757 in CT.¹
