Robert de Neville was born in 1223 in Raby, Durham, England.1 Robert de Neville's father was Geoffrey de Neville Baron Neville of Raby and his mother was Joan de Monmouth. His paternal grandparents were Robert FitzMaldred Lord Raby and Isabel de Neville; his maternal grandfather was John Monmouth Lord of Monmouth. He was an only child. He died at the age of 59 in 1282.1 -
