Sarah was born in 1629 in Plymouth Colony, MA.1 Sarah's father was John Alden and her mother was Priscilla Mullins. Her paternal grandparents were George Alden and Jane Unknown; her maternal grandparents were William Mullins and Alice Unknown. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Joseph, Jonathan, David, Elizabeth, Ruth, Mary, Priscilla and Rebecca.-
