Ion Hastings Webb Carter 
Ion Hastings Webb was born on December 31st, 1893 in Hong Kong, China. Ion Hastings Webb's father was Sir John Thomas Carter and his mother was Lady Ella Louisa Crossley Webb. His maternal grandparents were Ephraim George Webb and Louisa Millar Crossley. He had five brothers and a sister, named Tod, Ernest Albert John Webb, Louis Alfred Latimer Webb, Desmond Patrick Webb, Brian Wolsey Webb and Nk. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 23 on May 3rd, 1917 in Passchendaele.General Notes
