Zbigniew was born in 1922.  Zbigniew's father was Wincenty Piwowarczyk and his mother was Magdalena Piwowarczyk (Galuś/Bubka).  His paternal grandparents were Wojciech Piwowarczyk and Joanna Piwowarczyk (Suchta). He had three brothers and a sister, named Czesław, Włodzimierz, Franciszek and Władysława.  He was the oldest of the five children. He had a half-sister named Lucyna.  He died at the age of 75 on November 29th, 1997.
