John Elkington 
John was born in 1879 in West Derby, Lancashire, England.1 John's father was John Elkington and his mother was Mary Hannah Lewis. His paternal grandparents were William Elkington and Alice Hartley ; his maternal grandparents are William Lewis and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and six sisters, named William, Hannah, Sarah, Emily, Elizabeth Alice, Elizabeth Alice, Mary and Alice. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 4 in 1883.-
