Sarah Leiws Elkington 
Sarah was born in December 1877. Sarah's father was John Elkington and her mother was Mary Hannah Lewis. Her paternal grandparents were William Elkington and Alice Hartley ; her maternal grandparents are William Lewis and <Unknown>. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William, John, Hannah, Emily, Elizabeth Alice, Elizabeth Alice, Mary and Alice. She was the second oldest of the nine children.-
