Ján was born on August 22nd, 1934 in Bzince pod Javorinou and his baptism.  Ján's father was Ján Samek and his mother was Mária Sameková (Seewaldová).  His paternal grandparents were Samek and Eva Sameková (Búziková); his maternal grandparents were Seewald and Seewaldová (?).  He had a brother.  He died from a stroke at the age of 71 on November 20th, 2005 in Trenčín.  The funeral took place in Nové Mesto nad Váhom.  His entombment took place in Nové Mesto nad Váhom.
