Martin was born on October 27th, 1846.  Martin's father was Ján Rubaninský and his mother was Katarína Rubaninská (Uher).  His paternal grandparents were Martin Rubaninský and Katarína Rubaninská (Šidla); his maternal grandparents were Martin Uher and Anna Uher (Črmak).  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 43 on February 7th, 1890.  His burial was in Lubina.
