Marie was born on February 10th, 1914 in Mrákotín delivered by Božena Nekovářová, porodní asistent and her baptism took place there on February 13th, 1914 conducted by priest František Kobzinek.  Her godfather was Vilém Dvořák and her godmother was Antonie Dvořáková.  Marie's father was František Dvořák and her mother was Marie Dvořáková (Gorenščiková).  Her paternal grandparents were JUDr. Josef Sobotka and Františka Dvořáková; her maternal grandparents were Jan Gorenščik and Marie Burešová (Tesařová).  She had three brothers and two sisters, named Miroslav, Arnošt, Václav, Ludmila and Jarmila.  She was the second oldest of the six known children.  She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 94 on March 29th, 2008 in Dačice.  The funeral took place on April 5th, 2008 in Cizkrajov.  Her entombment took place in Cizkrajov.
