František was born on June 25th, 1887 in Panské Dubénky.  František's father was JUDr. Josef Sobotka and his mother was Františka Dvořáková.  His paternal grandparents were Jan Sobotka and Josefína Sobotková (Šilhánková); his maternal grandparents were Jakub Dvořák and Marie Dvořáková (Plátová).  He had two brothers named JUDr. Dvořák and Vilém.  František and JUDr. Dvořák were twins.  He died at the age of 81 on April 15th, 1969.
