Roelof Cornelius van Blerk 
Roelof Cornelius was born on June 9th, 1903 in De Aar. Roelof Cornelius' father was Gert Petrus van Blerk and his mother was Susanna Philipina Botha (van Blerk). His paternal grandparents were Frederik Andries George van Blerk and Maria Magdalena Johanna Magaretha Ludwick. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Frederik Andries Georg, Gert Petrus, Petrus Johannes, Helena Elizabeth and Maria Magdalena. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 72 on April 6th, 1976 in De Aar. He was buried at the De Aar, Old Main cemetery.-
