Maria Johanna van Blerk (Albutt) 
Maria Johanna was born on June 18th, 1886. Maria Johanna's father was Nicolaas Willem van Blerk and her mother was Maria Johanna Erasmus (van Blerk). Her paternal grandparents were Johannes Petrus van Blerk and Geertruida Elizabeth Louw (van Blerk); her maternal grandparents were Lourens Jacobus Erasmus and Anna Magaretha Carolina de Villiers (Erasmus). She had four brothers and two sisters, named Nicolaas Willem, Johannes Petrus, Marthinus Johannes, Gerhardus Nicolaas, Catharina Carolina Margaretha and Gertruida Elizabeth. She had a half-brother named Johannes Petrus. She died at the age of 87 on July 5th, 1973 in Kuruman. She was buried at the Northern Cape, Kuruman, Seodin, main cemetery.-
